ok after a little time and reappraisal i have decided to pull back the saturation a bit
after using this tone. i feel it's a little better. here's that shot again after adjustment.
as you can see there's only a very slight difference but i'm happier with it.

have been playing around with quadtones in PS quite a bit lately. i think i have finally found
the combination that i like. here's a shot using that very combination to compare with the
one i have already posted. tell me what you think if you like -

had to go to the hospital for more x-rays this morning. i decided that i wouldn't bother
going in to work after that, as i could do with the time to do a few other things.
i grabbed the digicam and shot a few frames of my son blowing some bubbles.

went to a house-warming party last night. had lots to drink and smoke
so i'm feeling a bit second-hand today!!
at the party there was a woman who is a pro photographer.
at one point she brought out her camera and took a few shots.
she asked me if i wanted to take some and handed me her camera.
i tried playing around with it but it was auto everything with all the
bells and whistles. basically i just handed it back without taking a shot.
too bloody complicated for me!!
