Thursday - I didn't work today - one of the kids had to stay
home from school. Of course she miraculously recovered
fairly early in the day so we went off for a look at a second-
hand pushbike shop that i've been wanting to spend some
time in for a while now. I managed to pick myself up a quite
reasonable road bike pretty cheap i think. It needs a little
TLC and a bit of tweaking but i think it will work out OK.
Here's a pic taken earlier today before i cleaned it up and
changed the seat, the brake pads and the bar tape -





it was pretty dirty!

Wednesday - I'm still pretty much in rest mode as far
a shooting goes! Just cleansing the system for a bit.
I'm not even reading my usual lists and forums.
At the moment all my energy is going into getting fit
and getting into shape after giving up smoking for the final time.
It's been around six weeks now and this time it's for good.

Sunday - the result of this morning's ride - luckily i wasn't too far
from home as i didn't have a puncture repair kit with me!
You learn something new every day!
