i've spent quite a lot of time looking through other's photoblogs etc.
the one thing that i noticed was that i spent the most time in sites
that had text to go with the images. perhaps it's the fact that you
get a little insight into what others are doing, what they're thinking.
this i find as interesting as the images themselves.
there's a lot of great stuff out there and some of the site layouts
are very nicely done. i think i need to become more familiar with
how to build my own site layout and have it hosted in one place.
this of course will take quite some time - which i don't have a lot
of at the moment. perhaps someone out there reading this can
give me some pointers on the best/simplest/most effective way
to go about it.

a couple of shots that i took on tuesday that i just processed -

this is a heavy crop of one i shot today. it may not be technically all that
great, but i like the feeling of motion in it. the people anticipating the
arrival of their favourite players -

the grand final parade was on in the city today, as it is every year
the day before the big game. i was in town trying to do my deliveries
and shot as quickly as i could for about 2 minutes. here's a couple
of them -

more work on the weekend shots tonight! i've also added several items

i'm still working through my shots from the weekend.
some of the stuff i shot in the forest is a bit dark so it's
a good job i shot everything in RAW.
i've had to go back to the start with some of them and
give them a bit more exposure etc to get them to a point
where i can work with them. more to come soon!

i will post some more snow photos in the coming days but while
i was away i also shot a lot of stuff without snow.
a couple of walks in the forest and quite a lot of stuff with birds
and bird seed etc. here's a sneak preview -

i have worked my way through most of the weekend shots now.
still a few to go but i want to cull them down to the best ones
and make a gallery for them - probably at leica gallery with my
other ones. here's a few to go on with -

arrived back from a fun-filled weekend of snow and eating-out with
more shots than i have ever taken in an extended weekend !!
i'm certainly glad i have the x-drive because without it, i would have
had to pack up shop by the end of saturday.
i've been working through them and i guess i'm about half way now
so here's a few to begin with starting with the cottage where we stayed.
